Is it possible to use the Click2Call feature and include the encoded number in the link where it says "callto"? Is there a way to decode it?
Alternatively, should we use the softphone and hide the number there? Is that possible?
Or perhaps you have another solution?

Yes, it is possible to encrypt the parameters as described at the "Parameter security" section in the documentation.
Then you can pass it as URI query parameter as described at the "How to use the webphone via URL parameters" FAQ point.

Yes, you can use the Click2Call feature and include the encrypted tiny fishing phone number in the callto: link.
You can encode the number in the "callto" link, but Hole io decoding depends on implementation. Using a softphone to hide the number is also possible.
