How to install MizuDroid on your Android device

On Android you have a few ways to install applications on your phone. The easiest way is to just download it from the Market

Download from Android Market

To install applications using Android Market perform the following steps:

  • Open the Android Market application in the Applications menu. .

  • Search for “MizuDroid”

  • Click on the application and get more details of the application - the number of downloads and user comments.

  • To install it, just click on the Install button at the bottom of the screen.

  • On the next screen, you will find more details about the application, including the different functionalities it will need to access. Review the permissions it is requesting and click on OK to finish installing the application.

Install with App Installer

1.    Tap Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Unknown sources (tap to “Allow installation of non-Market applications”).
2.    Go to Android Market, download  and install AppInstaller application.
3.    Start AppInstaller, browse for YourApplication.apk file on your android device, and install it.

NOTE: If you already have installed an older/another version of the app which you are trying to install, first you have to completely uninstall it from your phone (Menu -> Settings -> Manage applications - > YourApplication -> Uninstall).

Download from Mizutech website

. In order to install an .APK file you should start by hitting Menu > Settings > Applications > Unknown sources (tap to “Allow installation of non-Market applications”).

Now you can open your browser at Android softphone and click on the Download link.

Transfer the APK from your PC

1.      Download the APK file to your PC.

2.      Mount your Android phone as a disk drive

3.      Copy the file to the device

4.      Allow installation of non-Market applications  (Menu > Settings > Applications > Unknown sources)

5.      Install “appInstaller” from the market and Open it

6.      Tap on MizuDroid.apk
