I just installed the test site and every time I try to register I get Trial Expired.
Installed from scratch in a brand new web server.

Are you using the demo version?
In that case these kind of error messages are normal if you exceed the demo limitations (described below the "Licensing" chapter in the documentation).
All these are automatically fixed once you switch to a licensed copy.
It is also possible to ask for a trial (without the demo limiations) if you wish to test more. Just write to support@mizu-voip.com
