Hello,
Trying the compact edition install on two windows 10 machines. Installation uses ALL DEFAULTS. On both of them, MManage trying to login gives the error "Cannot login! Reason: TCP provider: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. (www.mizu-voip.com:sa)".
Tried disabling windows defender. No luck. Reinstalled the product with admin login. No luck. Tried using IP address instead of loopbacl www.mizu-voip.com. No luck.
Can see "mserver" and "MService Host" services running. No SQL server service could be found (supposedly installed?). No anti-virus other than Windows defender on one machine (disabled). Another has Norton AV. No warnings or log entries.
Is this perhaps a new recent release?
Isn't it possible that you are trying to use the full MManage (downloadable from here) instead of the MManage shipped with the installer?
The compact versions has their own MManage included and installed automatically with the VoIP server. You should find it in the start menu and there is no need to install any other MManage separately (which supports only the full version).
Was using the default MManage shipped with the install. Everything defaults. Nothing worked, except that in one of the re-install attempts, after a long wait (!) the UI left panel appeared, but the right-side window was hung. Cannot be a resource issue as the system in question seemed sufficent (32GB, 3.0 GHZ i7-9700k series, practically idle). Also noticed that the services seemed to have stopped on another system, and had to be manually started.
Sorry to say, issue was resolved by installing a competing product.
We have found the problem. There was a misconfiguration in the latest installer, resulting in a bad admin client (MManage) configuration. The problem is fixed now. Please download the installer again and reinstall.
