Hello everyone I am trying to connect to a Xlite softphone (running on a Windows 7 professional machine) from a Firefox browser (version 63.0.2 32 bit) running on a Windows 10 professional server I am using JSSip as the User Agent Client The MManage RTC Gateway Compact Version: 8.8 is installed on the machine on which the Firefox browser is running When I try to connect to the Xlite soft phone the soft phone rings but gets disconnected as soon as I accept the call The Xlite soft phones logs contains the following error message SDP: Incompatible media format: no common codec But the Opus codec is available but for some reason the Xlite Soft phone does not accept the codec Now coming to my question In the SDP offer made by Firefox the following entry is there m=audio 53048 UDP/TLS/RTP/SAVPF 109 9 0 8 101 If I initiate a call the SDP offer from the Xlite soft phone contains the line m=audio 53048 RTP/AVP 109 which differs from the SDP offer made by Firefox My question is why is not the Mizu Gateway changing the SDP in the offer made by Firefox so that it is acceptable to the Xlite softphone. I tried giving the option to change the SDP in the user settings page. But that does not seem to have any effect I can connect to a Linphone (softphone) without any problem Thanks in advance for any tios Regards Mathew
