Hi,

it seems that the phone doesn't work with multiple sip accounts in that only one account is being kept registered.  That seems to be what is considered the "main account" --- though that doesn't make any sense because there is no such thing.  I need to be able to keep multiple accounts registered so that incoming calls can be received on any account, and I also need to be able to use any account for outgoing calls.  Which account is being used for outgoing calls should depend on the SIP url, i. e. when I call foo@sip-0.example.com or bar@sip-1@example.com, calls to foo need to go over sip-0.example.com and calls to bar need to go over sip-1.example.com.

How can I configure mizudriod to do this?

You can add multiple accounts from Advanced Settings -> SIP Settings -> Accounts and all should register at the same time.
The "main account" means the selected account and it is used when you make an outgoing call.

I tried using multiple accounts, and it's totally confusing. I can never tell which account is used for what, and I can't tell for which account I'd be changing the settings.  Each account needs its own set of settings.

Also, I need to pick the account to make outgoing calls from *per call* because these accounts are registered with different instances of asterisk at different places with different numbers to call for different people being reachable at each instance.

Having a so-called 'main' account that is always used for outgoing calls doesn't make any sense at all. Calls need to be routed depending on through which PBX the destination of the call is reachable.

So I gave up on multiple accounts, and even the single account doesn't stay registered. So I gave up on receiving calls altogether because I can't receive them, and I am limited to using the account for outgoing calls only. Also, I'm using it only for automatisation (like switching the lights on or off) because the speaker volume of the phone is way too low unless I'm at an entirely quiet place.

Besides, since the phone doesn't ring when a call is coming in, no matter what settings I try, it's useless for incoming calls.

So overall, it's pretty much useless, especially for phone calls.  And I couldn't find any SIP client at all that would actually work.  Cell phones just suck.

So overall, it's pretty much useless, especially for phone calls, and it's no more than a remote control device.  And I couldn't find any SIP client at all that would actually work.  Cell phones just suck.

You can receive incoming calls for all of the configured accounts.
Outgoing calls are made on the "main" account (which is selected in the settings)

I can receive incoming calls only when the program keeps itself registered to the PBX, and it doesn't do that. And have you ever tried to use different accounts at different locations with different wireless networks the phone connects to? There is only one account that can be used at each location, and there isn't even a way to turn off unusable accounts.

Tonight, it has forgotten all it's settings while I was sleeping, and I can't be bothered to do them all again on the tiny screen, so I deleted it. Perhaps I can find something else that works. This is just too unreliable. It's pathetic how you can not use your cell phone to receive and make phone calls at all.
