Sir,

We are using the WEBRTC-SIP GATEWAY. The Upper SIP servers are connect via the Local LAN.

When the Extenral WebRTC client connectes to and the registration is forwarded to SIP and the call established, the MRTC Gateway will use the Public IP for Media instead of the Local IP. Is there a way we can change the settings that for those SIP Servers in local the Media IP is local address as well.

Please set the RTP routing to "Route" from MRTC Admin client -> Config menu -> Configurations -> RTP Relay.

If the problem persists and do you have a license or plan to purchase a license, please send RDP login detail to our support and we can help you with the configuration.

The specific steps to achieve this will depend on the gateway software being used, but in general, you would need to configure the gateway to prioritize the use of the local IP address for media traffic when connecting to local SIP servers.

One way to achieve this would be to configure the gateway to use a specific network interface or IP address for media traffic when connecting to local SIP servers. This can typically be done through the configuration settings of the gateway software.

Alternatively, you could configure the SIP servers on the local LAN to use a specific IP address or network interface for media traffic, and then configure the gateway to use that same IP address or interface for media traffic when connecting to those servers.

To ensure that the media IP used by the MRTC Gateway for SIP servers on the local LAN remains local, you may need to configure network settings or modify the gateway's configuration. Consult the gateway's documentation or network specialists to adjust settings and ensure proper handling of media traffic.

An IP address beginning with 169.254 is called an Automatic Private IP Addressing (APIPA Drift Hunters) IP address.
