Hello,
one nice thing about voip ist, that you can make free calls to other user having their own SIP-URI.
Well, let´s make an example:
- several hard and softphones are connected to a Mizutech softswich
- there´s one SIP-Trunk for outgoing calls.
- there´s one Mediatrix voip gateway for incoming and outgoing landline calls.
- For outgoing calls to landline numbers, users have to to add a "0" before every actual number.
There are many SIP based external service, e.g. conferencing.
What I´d like to have is: I want my users being able calling SIP-URIs from their e.g. hardphones, so instead of typing a number they dial sip:conference@externaldomain.com
So the phone basically takes this gives the SIP-URI to the registrar, which is of course in this case, the Mizutech voip server. Next thing is that the server has to deal with this within the dialplan.
Is this possible with Mizutech´s voip server?
By default this is disabled for security reasons.
You can enable it with the "fwdtootherdomains" configuration options which can have the following values:
0=no 1=check 2=notelnumbers 3=all 4=reroute all 5 unconditioanal
