Hi Guys,

I am looking to capture the sound of a VoIP call made with MIZU Softphone on my desktop, to stream it (real time) to a Cloud Speech-to-text Websocket API. Any idea if this is possible ?

More details:
For a Proof-of-Concept project, we need real time capture of a VoIP phone conversation made with MIZU Softphone. The necessary steps are:
- Call event recognition (made, received or - best - both)
- Start capturing the call sound, both sides of the conversation (not interrupting or disrupting the call)
- Direct the sound stream to the Websocket API
- Collect the API text result back

Ideally, we would use Javascript code in an opened Web UI. Alternatively, C++ or ActionScript (in Adobe AIR)

Thanks for any info...
Franck

Hi

We can add such functionality into our desktop, so it would stream the media to any websocket in the required format.
Alternatively this could be implemented also on the server side (in our softswitch) so you could use any softphone or web based clients.

This would have some extra cost as the implementation might take around 3 workdays for us.

Please contact us at info@mizu-voip.com if you are interested.
