Hello,
I'm working with the SIP SdK for windows. Right now I'm using the free trial version and I would like if the following items are part of the limitations of the trial version :
 - I can make a call but the microphone does not seem to work (it works with another softphone)
 - the method API_PLaySound does not work with a PCM signed 8kHz 16bit mono wave file sound ( call is connected, and I receive a notification APIREQUEST:API_PlaySound ....APIRESULT:true)

Thanks for your quick reply.

I just found out that it was not working because the microphone of one of the client machine was disabled. Enabling it did the trick. Moreover, MVoIPSdK also needs an enabled microphone even if just using "API_PlaySound" is needed. So using Stereo mix as microphone did the trick (be careful to mute the speakers!)

My next question is : is it possible to have multiple active simultaneous calls to different VoIP clients using juste one SIP server (the purpose is to spread different messages to different clients simultaneously by using API_Playsound) ?

You can use the API_PlaySound also without microphone device and you can also have multiple simultaneous calls.

Hello,
I installed a purchased version of your Windows SDK on a virtual Windows Server 2008r2. I can confirm that the API_PlaySound does not work. I tried the same piece of code on a physical machine and a virtual machine. API_PlaySound works perfectly on the physical machine, but not on the virtual one.
On the virtual machine, I'm always getting the message
WPNOTIFICATION,EVENT,ERROR,cannot open audio recorder device,NEOL WPNOTIFICATION,EVENT,ERROR,Cannot open speaker (audio out) device,NEOL

The call is made, but as soon as the remote peer answers, there is no sound. The call to API_PlaySound made this return :
APIREQUEST:API_PlaySoundRPARAM1:1RPARAM2:D:\SONEMO\Enregistrement\MessageParam\20190604-171320_.wavAPIRESULT:true
I checked that the specified file is present and valid.

My only need is to read a file wave file as soon as the remote peer has answered. I don't need audio nor microphone.
