I'm trying to configure default conference room pool to create more rooms and add a conference room PIN code to enter the room but I don't see any kind of instructions for that in the documentation. Is it possible? Is there accessible documentation for conference rooms management?
Thanks

We can't provide such kind of support for conference rooms.

The webphone has the usual conference feature and you should use that for conferencing.

If you need conference room, then you must implement this on your server side. Conference rooms is a typical server side feature and most softswitch has such kind of feature. You just need to enable this in your server and manage the conference room numbers and pins after your needs from there.

Thank you for your clarifications. I've created and used conference rooms and everything is working but i'm affraid I have confused the term PIN: what I would like to define is an access code for the conference room allowing only the user who created the conference room and defined its access code to invite people to enter that conference room and people who don't know that access code can't enter the conference room. Is it possible?
thanks

I understand your needs; however we can't provide any further support for this functionality.
The webphone is a client side library. Conference rooms are a server side feature.
We have a built-in conference room like functionality in the webphone, but this is only for our customer’s convenience to ease conferencing with WebRTC.

What is supported by the webphone is normal conferencing.

If you need conference rooms, then you should use your own SIP server conference rooms capability.
If your SIP server has support for conference rooms, then you can configure it after your needs and use it from the webphone just like you would use it from any other SIP endpoint.
For sending PIN codes you can use the DTMF functionality which is fully supported by the webphone. If you are using the API then you can use the dtmf function to send the PIN code. If you are using the softphone skin, then you can send DTMF digits while in call using the DialPad/NumPad button.

Thats the point, the sip server I'm using is your softswitch and I don't see in the docs how to create a conference room with access code. Perhaps I posted the question in the worng forum?

Ah, that is another story,

In the free version we don't have such a functionality, however if you purchase a license then we can add this for you (within maximum 3 workdays on your purchase).
