I just started using the MizuDroid app a couple weeks ago.

When I try to send out a new message it shows as SMS but it doesn't get received by the other party. Then I noticed when I received messages myself, they showed as IM-Chat. I can reply to those IM-Chat messages and the other party receives them ok.

I noticed the documentation mentions that there is a pop-up that lets you choose between SMS and IM-Chat when you start a new message, but no such option comes up for me. Do I need to enable it somewhere? Is there an option I can set IM-Chat to be default?

I am connecting on voip.ms in case it helps.

This problem should be fixed in the current new release. We already published it on Google Play but it might take a few days to be reviewed and available for download or if you have MizuDroid installed then it should be updated automatically within a few days.

Maybe your server doesn't support IM (SIP MESSAGE RFC 3428)
