Hi there, I'm trying to get Mizudroid to connect to my asterisk server. Mizudroid says "Registered" but asterisk says peer is "UNREACHABLE" and periodically writes an error message on console being unable to connect to my phone to a random destination port > 10000, example:
Unable to connect SIP socket to 10.43.47.112:53744: Connection refused
By enabling SIP debug, I discovered that this port number (53744 in this case) comes from MizuDroid in the To: header of the REGISTER message. What the heck is going on here? Why is MizuDroid proposing this port instead of the 5060 port? I must admit that before using MizuDroid I did some experiments with the Android native SIP client, so it could be possible that MizuDroid thinks it should work via native SIP client, which possibly is listening on port 5060? ... Of course this is just a speculation, as I have no deep knowlege about the internals of Android. Anyway, if this is the case, how can I tell MizuDroid to natively listen on port 5060 (well, maybe it does already), but more important do not publish this non-sense port number when registering OR: the other way round: to really listen on the port it writes in REGISTER To: header.
Any kind of hints or help is really appreciated! Thank you very much in advance.
Cheers, Albert
TCP should work fine with MizuDroid. Can you please upload a log about a failed attempt?
If yes, please send your sip username to info@mizu-voip.com so we can find your log and look after the problem.
